Client wanted to lower his household’s electricity bills and was hoping that the solar panel installation, he could accumulate savings and reduce carbon footprints. The challenge for this project was installing solar panels on the roof - his roof was old and may not be able to sustain the panel weight if installed. The engineer team performed a structural assessment to assess the roof’s timber support and provided a solution to avoid any future complications.
