Marketing Consent Policy
1. Purpose of Marketing Communications
Union Energy (“Union”) may issue marketing communications to inform users about Union’s products and services, including but not limited to electricity plans, solar energy solutions, and EV charging–related promotions. These communications are intended for informational and promotional purposes only.
2. Consent for Marketing Communications
Marketing communications will be dispatched only if you have provided explicit consent. Consent is obtained through a voluntary opt‑in mechanism during the account registration process or via App’s profile settings.
Providing marketing consent is strictly optional and is not a condition for using the Union EV App or its EV charging services.
3. Marketing Channels
Upon receiving your opt-in, Union may communicate through one or more of the following channels:
- SMS
Marketing communications relating to non‑EV products (such as electricity or solar solutions) are strictly excluded from mandatory service alerts.
4. In‑App Notifications & Preferences
The Union EV App utilises different categories of in‑app notifications, including alerts, campaigns, articles, promotions and offers, to ensure transparency:
- EV Alerts relate to charging operations, safety, billing, and service updates.
- Campaigns, articles, promotions and offers may include informational or promotional content specifically related to EV charging services.
Users may manage their preferences within the App settings to toggle specific notification categories on or off.
5. Withdrawal of Marketing Consent
You may reserve the right to withdraw your marketing consent at any time without penalty via the following methods:
- Updating your preferences within the App notification or consent settings.
- Utilising the “unsubscribe” or “opt‑out” links provided in our digital marketing messages; or
- Emailing a formal request to enquiry@unionenergy.com.sg with your request to opt out of marketing communications.
6. Data Protection
Union processes all personal data for marketing purposes in strictly accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA) of Singapore, including all the applicable amendments. Any data collected for marketing will be handled in alignment with the overarching Union EV Privacy Policy.
