Union App - Privacy Policy

Union Energy Group ("Union", "we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, and protect personal data when you use the Union EV mobile application (the “App”), including EV charging, payment, wallet services, and related support services.

By accessing or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to this Privacy Policy and the App’s Terms & Conditions.

1. Personal Data We Collect

 Account & Identity Information (If You Register)

- Full name

- Mobile number

- Email address (with OTP verification)

- Password (securely encrypted)

- User account ID

 Registration is not mandatory to browse charging locations; however, charging, wallet usage, and transaction history require an account.

 Vehicle & Charging Information

- Charging session data (date, time, duration, energy consumed in kWh)

- Charging station ID and location

- Charging status and history

- Vehicle brand, model, battery capacity, and vehicle plate number (optional for individual users; required for fleet users)

 Payment & Billing Information

- Pay‑per‑session and wallet‑based payments

- Transaction records, receipts, wallet balance, refund records

- Payments processed via 2C2P

 Union does not store full credit or debit card numbers. Card details may be tokenised and stored securely by the payment gateway.

 Location Data

- Approximate location via Google Maps or Waze to display nearby chargers

- No continuous background tracking

 Communications & Notifications

- Charging status notifications

- Error and service alerts

- Promotional or informational messages (where enabled)

 Device & Technical Data

- Device type, operating system, app version, logs, and diagnostics


 2. Purpose of Collection

- Enable EV charging services

- Process payments and refunds

- Provide customer support

- Improve system performance and security

- Comply with legal and regulatory requirements

 

3. Disclosure of Personal Data

Personal data may be disclosed to EV charging system vendors, payment service providers (including 2C2P), IT service providers, and regulatory authorities where required by law.

Union does not sell personal data.

 

4. Data Storage & Retention

Personal data is stored securely and retained only as long as necessary for business and legal purposes, after which it will be securely deleted or anonymised.

 

5. Access, Correction & Withdrawal of Consent

Users may request access, correction, or withdrawal of consent by contacting Union’s Data Protection Officer.
