Union App - Refund Policy

This Refund Policy governs refund requests made by users of the Union EV mobile application ("App"). By using the App, you agree to the terms set out below.
1. Scope of Policy
This policy applies to wallet top-ups, charging transactions, and unused wallet credit balances within the Union EV App. Completed and successfully consumed charging sessions are non-refundable except in cases of verified system or billing errors attributable to Union.
2. Account Closure and Wallet Balance
Users will not be able to close their Union EV App account if there is a positive wallet credit balance remaining. Customers must request a refund of the wallet balance by writing to enquiry@unionenergy.com.sg. Account closure will only be processed after the wallet balance has been refunded in full.
3. Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be considered for unused wallet balances, incorrect or duplicate charges, and failed charging sessions caused by system issues. Refunds are not applicable for completed charging sessions, partially used wallet balances, or user-related errors.
4. Refund Request Process
To initiate a refund, users must email enquiry@unionenergy.com.sg with their registered contact details, transaction reference (if applicable), reason for refund, and required supporting evidence.
5. Required Evidence
Users must provide screenshots, receipts, transaction records, charging session details, or other supporting evidence reasonably required to validate the refund claim. Requests without sufficient evidence may be rejected.
6. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed via the original payment method where feasible. Processing time may vary depending on payment providers and banks. Users will be notified upon completion.
7. Right to Reject Refunds
Union reserves the right to reject refund requests that do not meet the eligibility criteria, contain incomplete information, or are deemed abusive or fraudulent.
8. Data Collection and Privacy
Any personal data or evidence submitted will be used solely for refund assessment and handled in accordance with Union’s Privacy Policy. By submitting a refund request, users consent to such data use.
9. Relationship with Terms & Conditions
This Refund Policy should be read together with the Union EV App Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. In the event of inconsistency, the Terms & Conditions shall prevail.
